Hi.D'ont know the standard boost pressures but you are right boost is load dependant and so will be less at a given rpm in lower gears.

If the ECU Map I have is correct for a WRX then the exact figures are :
0.78Bar Peak
Dropping back to 0.65BAR at 6,600rpm

Will be able to coonfirm when I'm sure that I have a WRX Map.

When does the overboost cut in on the 95 WRX? Also must i take account of the boost peaking above my preset level as well? Making sure the peaking doesn't set of the overboost.

fuel cut(overboost) happens at 1.05 bar so its best to set boost at 1.0 bar.

I've fitted a Dawes fuel cut off raiser to mine & now on 1.1bar at 1st set up. Aiming for 1.3. I'll keep you informed.
Ensure you fit an AFR guage 1st though to avoid a real nasty shocker.

Dan, you can adjust the amount of boost by putting extra pre-load on the actuator so yours may be wound in a little more than standard
