Can anyone shed some light on this for me.

I have read on some posts that it is possible to re-map the ecu on a STI5 using the EcuTek3.

Is this true and can the car be mapped for SUL/Optimax and tweak a few flat spots that i have.

Wait for John Banks or Bob Rawle to come along, they will give you the info.

A tek3 is basically a tek2 mapped to your specific car.

I am sure i have seen a list of ecus cover by the tek ecu, but cant remember where. try Ecutek

Who would be the nearest to me who could carry out the re-map.

I am in the north london area.

Well I am in Scotland so not ideal!

I would suggest www.brdevelopments.com - Bob Rawle loves STis and is brilliant at tuning them.

ECUTEK are based at Power Engineering in Uxbridge - so they're a good choice too.
