When were the plugs last changed?

You may also need to look at a colder plug.

NGK, seems to come standard. But may be different in Europe

Sounds like a coil pack fault.
Check the coil packs attached to the top of each plug. Remove the rubber caps, which may of perished, and check the plastic round the end of the coil pack plug contact. If it's cracked then it's likely to be shorting out.

New coil packs are about £50 each from C&K Manchester

Unhappy

Can anyone help, have a miss fire at high revs when the engine is hot. The car is a 95 WRX standard apart from a Magnex cat back.Plugs last changed about 1000 miles ago
