Unhappy

My Scooby had an "argument" with another vehicle last night. I now have a nasty deep scratch along the side of the front bumper and a "scrape" on the front wing from the wheel arch to the front light. Luckily there's no dent in the wing and looks like just the laquer and a thin layer of paint has come off (i.e. the scratch is still dark green).

Can anyone recommend any places around Newbury to carry out repair work reliably and not too expensive?

I can gladly recommend a good bodyshop for you. They are called Curridge Bodyshop, and their address is Mount Pleasant, Harts Hill Road, Upper Bucklebury, RG7 6SU. They have done lots of work for me, and strongly recommend them. Dennis (sprayer) used to work for Benneton, as well as Mercedes and BWM I think, and their work is excellent.

Hello mate....

For the last four years I have used the same guy. Frazer @ Headley bodyhsop...

This guy is good! Has all the contracts for every dealership at the triangle in Newbury... i.e. Honda, Audi, Volvo, Ford, Volkswagen...

Prepares all sale cars and also mends all accident damage on pre-sale cars... (feckin garages....)

He is also good on price.... and does a fair bit of work on Scoobies.. Tell him I sent you and he will look after you...

Ask for Fraser or Ivan on 01635 268405

Thanks Plantie, Mad4it,

I might just check out these places. I've had several quotes already. Subaru quoted about £500 (shocking!!!), some other place quoted £100+VAT (bargain???). I guess somewhere halfway between these two figures would be right.

Cheers
Stu
