Default dump valve remove

Looking to see if i will have any issues removing my forge dumpvalve and putting back on the standard one.

The reason I ask is that the car was mapped with the dumpvalve fitted and i dont want to fit the OE one if this will cause issues with boost and or the map.

Thanks

It will cause no issues. Contrary to what some think, a dump valve or recirc valve can not be “mapped in”. It doesn’t have any bearing on boost control so can be swapped back for a standard one with no issues.

It’ll run much smoother
I changed back to genuine item from a forge/baileys and remember how DIFFRENT mine drove 👌
