Default Throttle/ Fuel?

Hey guys so I have a 1994 Subaru Impreza wagon and when driving last night the throttle started cutting in and out really bad like it wasn’t getting fuel on and off. I know my mechanics but I’m not a typical Subaru guy, what could be the cause of this??

If no EML check your fuel pump.

Check the plug under the rear seat for the fuel pump. They fail with age.

What would that be called if I need to replace it?
I put some dielectric grease on it when I did the fuel pump but that won’t stop it from failing lol

Is the fuel pump after market? Did you fit the smaller sock if so? As if you did therein lies your problem, you'll get fuel cut under quarter of a tank which is sickening, just put the oem sock back on. If not, ignore me :-)

I have got a stock fuel pump and I appreciate you all for the help so far, I just cleaned the negative battery cable grounds and it has seemed to stop for now so I will update you guy in a week or so. Thank you all very much again🙂

Default Its back

So I was driving and it started again, only in the lower rpms I noticed this time, under 3250rpms is when it does it. No matter how much throttle I give it the car still seems to be acting as it is going from accelerating to idle back and forth because it is not stalling just no throttle response, any suggestions??

Had very similar issues with my 07 Hawkeye, turned out to be the MAF had developed a fault and needed replaced. Strangely it didn't throw an error code.
