Default Short shifter removal

Hi what parts are needed to remove a short shifter as bought a impreza wagon with one

A rather vague question unless you tell us/show us the setup and model year.

Usually it's just the lever that is changed.








Unless its a CAE or similar setup

I will need to ask the seller of the car as it just looks like the 5 speed gear stick in the car

So contacted last owner i just need to replace gear lever
i just thought there was more to it

FYI - it was my old Wagon and I had fitted a B&M Quickshift which was only the lever (middle one in there pic of 3)

Once insurance starts on Monday and i go a drive i might end up liking the short shifter lol

I wouldn't bother changing it myself, always found the 'short shift' gear stick gave a more positive feel to the gear change ?
