Default 225l walbro fuel pump

Morning all

hope we’re keeping safe

I am purchasing a second hand walbro 225l fuel pump

do I need any new gaskets etc before fitting.

i wouldn’t get a second hand pump Not worth all theknucle scraping

I’ve got a brand new full complete lateral performance one you could have with all the bits with it I just can’t post at the moment sorry

Unless you know the full history of the pump I wouldn't be buying a second hand pump either not worth the risk. Easy enough job all the same shouldn't need any gaskets.

id say it’s fiddly not difficult but wouldn’t bother with a 2nd hand fuel pump mate

icp do the Fuji racing one it has a really good size sock so no surging like the skinny ones in fact it’s near enough same size as the genuine ones £70 delivered

ive seen a lot of the branded stuff fail so I guess it’s the production quality etc but that’s another can of warms

icp’s own branded stuff like rcm and lateral performance etc looks a good piece of kit especially with the size of the sock they give with it

i just put the full spec c unit in as I know it would have been an overkill

I’ve never had any issues with icp and would trust there stuff as I would with any reputable business/company

ive passed the one I’ve bought to a freind he’s happy with it btw

when you say branded stuff fail

are you referring to Fuji racing or other brands
