Default Rotated set up question

Just browsing through rcm's website and I notice they now do a rotated set-up with screamer pipe, it's around £300 cheaper. Is there an advantage to having a screamer pipe instead of sending the wastegate through the downpipe? Increased spool perhaps?

Also when going rotated do you have to rotate the inlet manifold or have parallel fuel rails?

You don't have to rotate the manifold but if you can afford to, there would be less pipe work ,which can only be good. I modified my existing perrin fmic pipe work to fit.
I think fuel rails would be a must , I have the rcm ones .
I have that rcm rotated kit , its actually made by Invidia and I can confirm its monstrously loud when you get up to my 14psi waste gate opening point , im thinking it will eventually get fed back into the exhaust …….once the novelty wares off .

thanks buddy, I dont mind a loud car it depends what sort of sound it is. does it have a tone to it or is it just BBBLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAARRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Is there an advantage to it compared to the original rcm one?

I couldn't comment on the Proper RCM one (apart from the price difference) as ive got no experience with that but its a very pretty looking thing and there could be a lead time as I was told they make them to order.
The Invidia one sounds like climbing Spit Fire , im really not joking some of the looks I get from cyclists and old women . In my younger days I would be stopping and having a conversation about the difference between noise and speed .

No need to rotate the inlet, strictly for looks, screamer pipe do sound the bollocks when venting the ext waste gate to the atmosphere...every thing really comes down to the users preference.SJ.
