Question

Sorry for the thick question.

I have seen a manifold advertised & a down pipe, are they the same thing ??

Or do I need a Free flowing manifold & downpipe ??

Cheers

Barge,

The manifold is the the part of the exhaust which attaches to the engine and feeds exhaust gases from the engine to the turbo, and the downpipe attaches to the turbo and allows the exhaust gases to exit to the silencer.
