Default Remove downpipe sti 2004

Hi guys

I have tried removing my heat shield so I can swap my down pipe with a sports cat on a 2004 sti type uk

argh I have broken the first bolt I touch of the heat shield. Was coming of nice and slow and then snapped.

anyway I have realised I was watching a lot of American how to videos which doesn’t have the brake pots above the turbo so are in the way

what’s the best way to get this out!!

My downpipe came off easy, my problem was the heat shield was a nightmare so if you’ve got past that shouldn’t be to hard

yes hoping because it’s a sports cat and not a decat it’s be ok?

not sure if that’s correct - who’s best to take it to in west or near west London

hoping to add a few more things over the next month or so like new plugs up rated fuel pump etc
