Default Hesitation between 2000 - 3000RPM

Hi all,

I have a 2006 Impreza WRX 2.5. Last year I had some work done, where a VF 35 Turbo, STi intercooler, decat downpipe and Walbro fuel pump was fitted. Also had a tune from RaceDynamix. Car now runs 310bhp (could have been 340 but unfortunately had 95 fuel in at the time).

Around two weeks ago, I noticed that when I’m using between half to full throttle between around 2000-3000rpm, there would be a weird hesitation where it feels like the car is lacking power. After 3K the car feels normal again. I know this could literally be anything, but does anyone have an experience with an issue like this, or have an idea of what it could be?

I’m taking the car in next week to find out what it is, but would love to know before it goes in.

Thanks,

Dillon

Hi mate, did you ever find a solution to this issue, as my Hawkeye 2.5 is doing exactly the same, tried a different MAF but no change, really starting to annoy me as was running perfectly previously.
