To start with your air/fuel ratio will be all over the gaff

If i were you get it mapped asap and drive off boost or dont drive it till you get it mapped. Last thing you want is the engine to go.

.....or return it to standard, reset your ecu and put the mods back on before you get it mapped.

The best way to get the fuel and everything else set up is for the car to be mapped. The Ecu controls fuel, boost ect ect

You say you have a turbo 2000, but z4 ecu's are off import cars. Do you have a 2000 or WRX?

Ok i will try to book one up for next week.
When i was upgrading all the mods on the car i was told to put a z4 ecu on it so it would handle the power beta but yh its a turbo 2000.

I didnt think you could put import ecu's on uk cars. If so this could/has caused another problem.

Z4 ecu's are not mappable so you will need an ESL daughter board or an after market ecu (Simtek)

Contact Simon (jolly Green Monster) one of the best mappers around. Info and prices on his website

I would also put in a new set of plugs. That might be the cause of your sudden problem, particularly if you've had problems with coil packs. If your plugs wern't firing properly then it wont take long for them to fail. Id suggest NGK7's

I think he has bigger issues then just plugs, as mentioned Z4 ecu on a uk turbo, VF turbo when a Z4 is expecting a TD05 etc etc.

Thats right, I think he's realised he needs it mapping correctly. However for it to suddenly run bad then something has stopped working. Hopefully just plugs!

Make sure you get it mapped as soon as possible as like has been said you are running the risk of blowing it up!

Thays good to hear. Your plugs failing is a sure sign that your mixture isnt right! If you dont get it mapped properly the least that will happen is you'll destroy your new plugs, at worst you'll melt your engine!
