Will be quite costly as its an engine out jobby and costs will vary depending on garage. just remember you get what you pay for and try and find a subaru specialist who know there stuff

You'll struggle to get much done properly under c£4500 tbh. Any decent garage will want to do the bottom end too otherwise your HGs aren't likely to last long.

I personally would only get bearings done if the oil have been badly contaminated.
if you are handy with a spanner you could do head gaskets and cambelt kit for around £500-600(in parts etc)
A garage would probably charge around £1000 in labour etc(just a guess)

I was not sure if you have stripped the engine ? if it’s not broken don’t fix it , crank bearings if shells go it does often kills the crank and it’s new crank time , i had a rebuild and there was slight marks on the crank , so it was polished , so caught just in time so no new crank needed , the 2.5 does not always fail but is prone to it so if it’s running fine save your £ for something else or for a forged engine in the future , the reality is if head gaskets go always do the bottom end as it’s a false economy not to do it , the bottom end sounded fine on my car when hg went , but it was clearly on its way out
