There's a product called helicoil that will enable you to replace the thread.

Almost any garage should be able to helicoil it, I would have thought, or send it off to Ian at godspeed brakes, who will also be able to fix them.

As mentioned helicoil can fix it. If they are brembos, it seems the services manuals were wrong on the torque (way too high) and sometimes the threads tear out with bolt especially if they've been on there for a while. This happened to me, and I helicoiled them.

Do a Google search for the more appropriate torque (but 80 ft/lb or 109Nm rings a bell)*

*Brembo 4 pot fronts

Yeah It’s the 4 pot Brembos, and yes we’re murder tight maybe it was this. I’ll see where I can get them helicoiled then

May not have been cross threaded. Brembos, despite their hype, are well known for having steel bolts threaded into alloy calipers. The result is electrolytical corrosion, which binds the steel in like it's been welded in.
And removing it removes most of the alloy thread.

You are then left with a caliper needing a helicoil and four new bolts to buy.

Ian Godney at Godspeed did my rear calipers when they suffered the same.

Quite how Brembo get away with marketing a product, clearly NOT FIT FOR purpose, as top class kit, is beyond me. It wouldn't kill them to cast the things with stainless inserts, would it?????

Typical Italian over-hyped ****e, same as Recaro, MoMo etc etc.

Agree on the steel insert bit, except I think they should be normal steel and not stainless (due to work hardening etc etc)
