Blob wrx airlock
Hi folks
Got an 04 blob wrx and having some bother getting the coolant bled tried everywhich wy to bleed very slowly through the turbo hose on the header tank, back filling through the top hose, filling the rad first then through the header tank, ghe front jacked up even tried bleeding on a steep hill to get the front higher as well as pulling pipes and replacing once i get water flowing.
Nothing is working however top rad hose is hard after a long drive under hard acceleration or driving up steep hills the temp gauge drops (from a standing start the temp gauge will drop to cold from the normal position if i pull through 1st,2nd & 3rd) theres no over heating both rad hoses heat up (top hot to the touch bottom is warm) has had a new rad fans hoses thermostat and a pump 2k miles ago.
driving with an obd reader pluged in the coolant temp fluctuates between 89 and 95 degrees C and there no smell of exhaust gas in the coolant waiting on a sniffer kit being delivered however.
has anybody came across somthing like this before ??
ps sorry for the long winded 1st post but this has me rather stumped lol
