Default Rear Tail Light letting water in

hi all,
noticed today as i walked past my car that one of the tail lights was half full of water, had a deeper dig around and found my spare wheel well completely full of water and suspect its getting in past the left tail light, the foam gasket has begun to perish and im struggling to find somewhere online to get a replacement, any one got any ideas of where i could get hold of one or is this a case of going direct through subaru and hope they can get hold of one.

(2007 WRX STI with 2005 rear tail lights)

thanks for the help

They sell them at the main dealer separately so you don't need to buy the complete light to get them, about £14 each. I personally would change both, i got them about 5 months ago so they still sell them

any idea if these parts fit a bugeye also? my thought was that the general dimensions of the light housing hasnt changed just the internal arrangement of the cluster and bulb layout?

Can you get a gasket for the classic? Silicone never seems to be as good.

Don't use silicone, use this: http://www.caravan-components.co.uk/...-in-400ml-Tube

Non-setting mastic, lasts longer than silicone and the lights CAN easily be removed if necessary.
