Default Active tail silencer

My 2006 impreza sti is decated but its to loud on tick over. My neighbours won't be wanking if I leave it to warm up eary/late lol. Are these any good? Im looking to reduce sound without affecting performance. Tia

dont leave it to warm up - pointless exercise. just start it, and then drive it (sensibly) until warm then go buck daft should you so wish

Ye thats what I do now mate. I've just ordered some 5w40 nanodrive as I don't know whats in it atm. Do you need to let the engine cool before turning it off or just after a bit of a blast?

again drive the last mile or so home sensibly and then youve no need to cool down before switching off.

personally id run a 10w50 in a 2.5 sti. but again thats personal opinion based upon my subaru specialist/engine builder advice - i use the millers 10w50 nanodrive
