Neither - sell both of them on.

The first one is OEM which can be greatly improved upon. The second one is a nasty aftermarket job with the dodgy flexi part...which will eventually fail and blow.

Then contact Alyn @ AS Performance and tell him your turbo and supporting mods. He will then recommend to you which slip-joined 'trick' venturi-style up-pipe is best suited (i.e. its input and output diameters) to your setup, for optimum spool-up whilst still realising the setup's max bhp potential.

I think they're nominally £139 + VAT, but the price may have changed since when I got mine. Mine's still going strong after 6 years, with no blowing, etc... That's the beauty of the slip-joint - it takes the stress out of the connection 'twixt manifold and turbo. It allows the whole assembly to 'breathe', so to speak.

Oh, and make sure you get it DEI heatwrapped, too...

Yep, worthwhile.

Funny enough I bought ported OEM manifold (plus up-pipe IIRC) from a member on here (still have them knocking about somewhere)... But ended up getting GT Spec2 tubulars and Harvey's aforementioned trick up-pipe in the end (as my target was upto 400bhp).
