You should have an extra button on the electric window switch.
You can just fit these, I have to a classic impreza before

Well mine are electric adjustable mirror but the actual unit doesn't electrically go in and out, so can I get then to do this or not? I'm so confused because everybody says something different!

If it's a UK car, chances are they will be electrically adjusted, but NOT folding.
IF they fold, the switch will have an extra button towards the front of the car, actually a little rocker switch, one way for in, one way for out.
I put my own on. You need switch AND folding mirrors, plus about half a day and some cable.

As has been said, your mirrors do not have the motor to fold in and out the JDM one will
The information alcazar gave is correct.
