Hi all I got a 1994 jap import today when driving my radio cut out also Rev counter the car would then run lumpy when try to throttle but ok at low Rev then will come back car is then fine did it a couple times on a 40 mile journey flickering on and off any ideas people

Sounds like a poor connection behind the radio.

Could be a bad earth causing all those problems.

If it affects Radio and NOT the CD player then its likely an HT lead or coil pack loose and the resultant spark between this and plug causes RF interference and affects the radio as well as affecting the spark to one of your cylinders.
