Default oil pressure dropping momenterally ?

im probably just being paranoid but thought id ask all the same. ive noticed recently when i pull up to junctions etc and come to a stop and dip the clutch my oil pressure on the defi quickly drops below 2 bar and beeps the alarm for a second before returning to sit at 2 bar where it normally sits at hot idle. now i have an issue which is being looked at on sat at RA motorsport basically i had the drivers rocker gasket done but its still leaking so RA are looking it over for me. thought it might be connected obviously but oil levels are fine although i will be loosing some due to the weeping at the gasket. anything else would cause the sudden momentary blip of the oil pressure? oil pump?

The rocker gasket will not cause loss of oil pressure. My pressure sometimes drops below the standard tickover amount by a psi or two triggering my alarm. Obviously it's linked to RPM so if you almost stall the car or bring the revs below tickover then the pressure will drop.

If it is dropping without the RPM doing the same then it may be pump related yes. But gauges are a useful pain in the ****. On the one hand a boost gauge which warned me of over boost saved my engine due to a split solenoid pipe. On the other hand I spend far too much time worrying about every little change in the readings...

It normally sits at 2 bar hot idle dan but it drops to 1.8 just for a sec then back up to 2 bar. It sets off the alarm as that's set at 1.8 . Its only when coming to a halt at junctions etc as you dip rhe clutch.

Possibly dropping below 900 or so rpm momentarily.
Pressure rises with revs when oil is hot generally.
Keep an eye on rev counter next time it does it

Yeah if the revs drop too then that will explain it nicely. Then just set your alarm a tad lower.
