Hiya

The Mrs gets about 20 mpg from her 2000 sport special but she has a very heavy right foot - I get about 28 mpg from the same car.

I have a 2006 R sport wagon and I get about 32 mpg.

Hope this helps

Andy

Ah I think I have a problem then, from a brimmed tank to the light coming on im getting 200 miles just about. So about 22mpg.
My fuel gauge is all over the place aswell so im either burning a lot of fuel or my gauge is giving me a false reading.

I do have a 2.5'' catback but I don't that's going to knock the mpg down a huge amount, or will it?

I use to get 3-330 on a full tank. I put a induction kit on and got 250ish I put it back to norm and was getting 3-330 again.

Hmmm.. I've got a 2003sti its been de-cated and has a K&N panel filter. if i drive sensible from a full tank to empty i can see 250m thats doing 60mph to and fro to work. If i give it some now and again i see 180-200m :/ deffo chewing more juice than my previous car 2.5 foci ST. but the smile on my face is worth it..

Maybe its my driving, I do get heavy footed now and then lol. Il give it another tank of fuel and see what happens.

Does a po136 code effect my fuel? rear 02 sensor, it goes off if I go over 50mph.

I would say yes. The ECU uses O2 sensors to detect how rich or lean things are. Your MPG is low. I get 32-34 from my 07 2.0R and 24-28 from my Uk Turbo.

Ran diagnostics on the car while driving the other day, the oxygen sensor is constantly saying lean. Also I have a nice fuel leak from the rear of my tank above the subframe!!!

First year of driving really is dear lol
