Default DIY engine builds

Right here's a question for the DIY engine builders, where do you guys get the engine build manuals from (assuming you use them)? Failing that how do you know what torque settings and what not to use?

Would that video pretty much apply for a Bug WRX engine too or will it be completely different? It would be interesting to do an engine rebuild

There doesn't appear to be a Haynes manual for the Impreza past 96 and I've got a Hawk.

As for Autodata, how do you get access to it? I looked on the website and its £750 for a 12 month subscription and you're supposed to be in the motoring trade.

I bought a Subaru dealer manual off eBay for £5.99 and also I downloaded one off the net for free. Google it
