Rattling noise???
I have a 53 plate bug eye 100k and fully serviced.
It's PPP car and under loads rattles on acceleration but not if I clutch and do it??
I've been under car and no heat Sheilds rattle and no exhaust brackets?
Could it be the impeller on the turbo ?
She still pulls hard and no smoke so I'm confused????

I think it has no cat guys?
I have been under the car and found nothing...
It seems strange as it only happens when its on boost and not off boost.
That was the reason i thought it may have been impeller rattle?

im really hoping its not the gear box starting to play up! running 360 ft torque since the map on a 2.0 blob so hope not

Have you looked at the shield above the silencer , prone to corrode around 1or 2 of the 4 bolt fixing points . Causes a rattle ... It may look fine at first glance , putting a socket on it & slightly turning will tell you if indeed it is corroded through

Sounds a bit familiar... Still haven't found a real solution for mine... You might want to check out this thread. Built some kind of detcans/stethoscope in the meantime and I think, I can hear the noises coming from the turbo which sounds very rough. Haven't had the time nor the tools to investigate further...
