Magnetic sump plugs
Hi I'm a newbie to the forum and Subarus.
I have a 2007 hawk PPP which I've had since December and it's in getting a new block under aftermarket warranty and was wondering if getting and ask the dealer to fit a magnetic plug was a good idea on just a gimmick??
Also would a remap be a good thing to do as well?
Cheers

I have one fitted to my classic but I can't confirm if it's doing much, I do clean bits off it when servicing and for what they cost i would rather have one than not. Part of the ppp kit includes a map tweek, do you have any after market bits fitted?

They do vary in cost due to the strength and quality of the magnet. So there ability to work May vary. That's why I asked.
As far as I am aware my hawk has large bore exhaust not prodrive one (not sure about a decat) dump valve, PPP silicone hose and other pro-drive styling accessories. Pretty basic from what I see.
