Question rotated turbo oil drain inclination

i have installed a Hayward and Scott rotated kit on my bugeye
but i have a problem...
the inclination of the oil drain isn't good for me...(max 15 degree)
and i see some oil on the turbo and on the intercooler hose...

i can't understand where is the problem, the turbo or only the inclination of the oil drain....?

Why would there be oil in the intercooler piping if you have the oil drain at more than a 15deg angle?

The only time I know of oil passing into the pipework is a buggered oil seal or stem seals etc?

hi mate, because It is important not to exceed 15°in oil drain angle in order to allow proper drain of lube oil from the turbocharger back into the engine.
The oil entering the turbocharger is pressure fed from the engine but relies on gravity to make its way back to the engine, any greater angle can cause oil to back up into the turbocharger and leak past the seals.

It's always the way,USA for parts pipe work turbos etc..will always be cheaper, but sometimes importing things in to the uk can be even more expensive when you take the taxs into consideration, unless you are ordering from a company that nows there Stuff.SJ.

Sorry I meant they do a specific oil drain kit for a rotated turbo set up, not sure but can't see why it wouldn't work with your setup?
