Default ESOC Christmas Gathering?

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering whether or not there would be any form of 'Christmas Party' or gathering this year?

I see there was one last year, but then again it was organised back in the August of that year so it's probably a little late to be asking this anyway..

Still...Just a thought..?

As its the first Christmas as the newly reformed ESOC I was thinking it would be nice to do something-A Christmassy Meet could work?

I think it might be too late in the year to do something more fancy like book a pub function somewhere or something along those lines...Has anyone got any ideas of what we could do?

I was thinking maybe mid-December? (I'm afraid I won't be around as of from the 18th onwards) >helpful<

14th/15th would be an ideal time...but to do what..?

In case you couldn't tell, I'm super-awesome at organising stuff I'm just FULL of ideas! It's almost like...I...didn't...quite...think this through

As there is only a few of us so far who are interested in it, I guess it'll be something pretty small and simple...if anything at all! lol

Paul,

I was just looking back through the threads from last year and I see that the December pub meet was in fact held in the middle of December..Is that something you were planning on doing again this year?

Because if that's the case then we can just do that!...again...plus tinsel! Simples! lol- I didn't think you would have a pub meet at all in December which is why I suggested a gathering of some sort in the first place.

*I didn't want to just assume, I know how busy pubs can get in December and wasn't sure if it would be an option or not*

Z's Pointless Thread of the Year 2013- Nailed it!

Hey Zo,

Yeah was going to hold a meet still, but hadn't really thought about the date, so happy to move it for and Xmas themed meet, think that's a great idea!

YEY! A Christmassy meet it is!

Now the tricky part...making it Christmas themed...

Would Rob be up to the challenge of a Christmassy flier you reckon?

I see Zazzle do some funky Impreza themed decorations..I might have to get one for my rear view mirror

http://www.zazzle.co.uk/subaru+impreza+ornaments

Hmmmmmm I wonder if I have left it too late to do some themed cards this year..? *ponders*

Oooooo I'm looking forward to this now!
You watch, it'll go and snow now and then we won't be able to do any of it

~Z (too much caffeine this morning)

Yeah sorry Zo, but I agree with. Snow would be perfect!
Andy don't act like you don't think Xmas scooby decorations are the greatest idea! Wish I knew where the pic was, me and Bushy decorated out work van one year. We had tinsel, lights and even a tree! Our boss didn't know what to make of it

Don't get me wrong- I have every faith when it comes to a Subaru's ability in the snow. Last year summed that up when everyone got stuck in the work car park and I didn't..

Its the other f**kers on the road that make it unpleasant! Like the massive LWB Sprinter van that came flying around a blind corner sideways, narrowly missing me one morning last year! Again, thanks to my car's handling, I didn't lose control as I dove out of the way! If I'd been driving a FWD/RWD car, the back end would have flown out and clipped his.

I don't like snow. Its fun for 5 minutes...but then it just gets annoying

That sounds pretty epic Paul, you need to find that picture

It's a shame those Zazzle decorations are so pricey, you can do your own design and we could have done ESOC ones with the club logo..but they are a bit expensive for what they are really.
