subaru rb5 needs engine

My subaru Rb5's engine has sadly died both headgaskets gone.. would anyone recommend rebuilding the engine or buying a second hand other?

maybe wrx engine, bad move ?

I would recommend you contact some fo the guys on the rb5oc as there is always aparts flying around, including engines!
