Remap help!!!
Hi all
Just wondered if any one knows any one who would do a good job on remapping my motor. Extreme scoobies in Chelmsford can do it and no doubt he would do a good job but he also wants £550! Just wondered if there's anywhere that would do it cheaper than this but to the same standard
Cheers

Hi there, I am a roaming mapper and can do your car for you if you want me to travel to you, or you can come up my way! Results are garaunteed to make you smile otherwise you can have your money back!!
I charge £225 for the remap and if you want me to come to you I will charge a bit on top for travel.
Give me a shout if I can be of assistance.
Graham

it has been a few years since i last looked at having a scoob remapped, but £550 dosent seem that bad at all.
Just be careful of the "cheaper" options (and i am not taring all with the same brush here) but i have learnt from past experience, you do get what you pay for and cheap normally ends in aggravation. IMO
PS. that comment is not aimed at enginemapper by any strectch of the imagination, as i dont know him, just a comment on MY own experiences in the past.
cheers

Not sure about now, but Extreme used to get Pat Herborne in to map for them, another top mapper. (Pat mapped my first scoob about 7 years ago and it's still going strong!)

Locally, I'd go with Duncan if cost is the issue Simon JGM is awesome and travels with Ecutek I guess you'd want that for your car. Also slightly further afield you have FBTuning who are also cheaper than Ecutek Having pulled apart maps I have had done locally by none of the above cheap is cheap for a reason, headline figures at the cost of refinement !

It was dynoed 2 weeks ago at 239, it's fully standard MY98 PPP and on 95k, not sure a map would make much in terms of power. I know on stand alone ecu, decatted/exhaust upgrade etc etc they can hit 270/280. Not sure if replacing the Prodrive map would make much if a difference?
