New project
As you all know, I came very close to selling the Scooby recently as I was using it for work, getting very fed up of spending £50 on fuel a week and getting 120 miles from a tank!!
Not to mention the stupid bint of a neighbour redesigning the front wing for me at the beginning of the year!!
To say I've lost interest in the car is an understatement!!
After reading Stu and Frayz's exploits recently, my interest is coming back and now I've been promoted at work and have a company vehicle with a fuel card - The STI will be fun to drive again as it can be kept as a toy!!
My new project for the car is Hydrogen injection
After doing a little research, I plan to build a hydrogen generator and make the car run partially on water!!
With a generator I plan to make will produce around 1-2 litres of hydrogen a minute, and this will be plumbed into the throttle body for a little kick!
With this in mind, the only by product from burning hydrogen is water, which would be in the form of steam, so should reduce the emissions.
The physics behind producing hydrogen is pretty straight forward - Split water into it's elements - Oxygen and hydrogen by using electrolysis.
Would anyone be interested in this project? if so, I'll do a proper build guide detailing what to do, how to make, experiments to see if this will actually produce hydrogen and final testing by installing it into my car

Would be interesting Paul.
Just 2 points though....
1. Are you saying that you would be driving around with a hydrogen bomb in the boot?
2. Surely the steam would stop the flamer from working
