Many years ago I keep Tropical fish, but always baulked at having Marines - never got convinced the effort was worth it, but you've obviously cracked it. nice one!

Looie,
Still a beginner ..... In fact, this is my first tank ever and only around 3 months in.
I had always wanted to keep fish, but was never interested in Tropical or cold water ...... They had to be Tropical Marine, and it is due to Donna taking me up to the fish section in Pets at Home that did it ........ 1 week later after doing some homework, I was setting the tank up at the initial cost of approx £1000.
It is all worth it though ..... Donna found me asleep in the armchair next to the tank the other night, I had fallen asleep looking in the tank

Well, it's been some time since I have been back to this thread, in that time, I have dismantled the above tank, got a new bigger one for the other wall (for you Stu ), rebuilt the tank and cabinet to incorporate a sump (under tank filtration instead of canister filtration) and have stocked my Seahorse tank inhabitants into it ..... Phew.
I thought some of you may like to see some pics of them :-
You looking at me ?!
Alligator Pipe fish
There are other inhabitants, a Tail Spot Blenny and 2x Dwarf Blue Lined Pipefish, which I haven't managed to get good pics of yet.
