I've never heard of anyone getting fast-tracked emigration unless National Security is involved
Good luck whatever you decide

Paul, have you actually applied for a job in Australia?
If not, then obviously a scam.
Even if you have, there is no need to spend that sort of money. The sponsoring company can help by confirming that a firm job offer is available, and that they cannot get someone from Australia to fit the bill.

All seemed cosher, sent my CV, they replied asking general emigration questions (which seems normal as I did enquire about emigrating to New Zealand a few years ago) To which I didn't reply.
The Australian "Lawyers" sent me a PDF info pack and on the last page said the fees were £4750 which made me suspicious.
Also these "Lawyers" fly regularly over here doing interviews, and they charge £55 for a run of the mill job interview - according to them, they charge this to make sure you are serious!!!!!!
Needless to say I'm not going for the job, as everyone says - Alarm bells are ringing

Try doing some research online Paul, see if anyone else has had any experiences using them.
Awesome opportunity dude!
Tread carefully though mate wouldn't want to see you scammed.

I watched Panorama on TV the other week about building sites in Dubai, recruitment agencies were advertising these excellent opprtunities in India and the workers had to fork out £2000 for the work papers/visas, to cut a long story short, they were shafted big time! so this concerns me a little!
Great idea though, will do some digging, might turn out to be genuine

never trust a "lawyer"...... always use a Solicitor. I hate the term lawyer as it basically means someone unqualified. If you were a Solicitor why would you call yourself something else? Because it's an offence to call yourself a Solicitor when you aren't..

Any genuine company offering you a job will help with your immagration, and if the role is in demand, will also be able to offer to help 'fast track' you.
There are a lot of agencies out there willing to get you there in say 2 - 4 months for a fee - but read the small print - there is no guarantee you will be accepted! Job or not!
Tread very carefully, but as I say, if it is genuine the company can help.
If it's what you want go for it - you only live once - life's not a rehersal!

If the job is real I would have thought that the company would have contacted you directly for a telephone interview. Might be worth a shot getting in touch with the company who the job is with.
This website may help you out a bit: http://www.workingin-australia.com/ - Just always be aware if they're asking for money there's probably a catch.

Thanks Sarah
I know Australia is crying out for Engineers, but this offer doesn't sound right to me. If I do decide to go this route, then I will be doing some very thorough research for reputable companies - dot the i's, cross the t's - so on and so forth.
The jobs advertised in Oz don't appear on reed.co.uk - jobs, careers, employment and recruitment which is a major empolyment site in the UK, it may be all above board, but I don't want to take unnecessary risks!

Brilliant! But be aware that they restrict the number of immigrants each year (something this country could think about!) so enough points is not a guarantee!
I say go or it - we seriuosly considered it ourselves last year, but it wasn't meant to be at that time.................but who knows what the future holds!!!

If the right opportunity comes along, then I will seriously consider it, just don't want to get caught up with some mickey mouse company trying to make some easy money!
My uncle emigrated to Oz, but unfortunately he died several years ago, but I've found out that i do have distant relatives out there
