Haven't heard anything major, hope it isn't anything serious again.

Pretty much.

This morning at around 11:00hrs, seven Essex County Fire & Rescue Service (ECFRS) vehicles attended the laboratory in the Coryton Technology Centre.

The circumstances behind this are that at around 10:25hrs there was a spill of one litre of a mixture of Acetic Acid and Chlorobenzene in the QCI Laboratory. As part of dealing with the spillage, a call was made to the ECFRS to ask for advice on how to dispose of the spill. Their response was to attend in person. After receiving advice the incident was dealt with by the on-site Emergency Response Team, without any requirement to use ECFRS personnel.

So if you need any advice on putting out fires, you should expect at least 3 engines to attend and advise?

Fozzie, I heard they'd been asked to attend to extract your wallet from your trouser pocket
