Steve, are you suffering because of the changes around Aldgate?

Sounds like a 'mare down there at the mo

Yep it is a mare there, our driver avoids it rather than dealing with the traffic. But being a local he knows a fair few cut through routes.

just missed that thankfully.

although for anyone heading into the city, lower thames street is totally closed due to what looks like a very nasty accident involving a cyclist.

Yup, Aldgate was a mare. Central line was up the swanny so decided to drive in.

That was one hell of a big mistake!

It took 2 hours to drive 7 miles. Reminds me a bit of the Prodrive test track a couple of weeks ago......

Driving home should be interesting.

Have just been texted by a mate who said that for tomorrow only, Shell are selling V Power at the same price as 95. Don't know if this is true or not, but go to be worth a go.

yup lehmans.

although have heard the usual rumours that always fly around after things like this, mentioning a fair few of the other major investment banks / financial institutions going the same way.

yup. with some of them we're talking trillions of $ of investments that will be lost. but everyone knows that there's a heck of a risk involved with investments so has to be expected every now and then. the trouble is, everyone is now holding onto their money. all this does is stall the economy even further imo. but i can also understand why they're hanging onto it. i book all the incoming money at work for payment of our bills, court awards etc and i've not see 1p for the last couple of days. even up to last week we were getting around $1m in each day.
