Default Need some sound advice!!!!!

After a couple of mini adventures in the RA, I've decided that I need to repay her for looking after me during Brands and the epic 1700 mile Germany road trip (including the Ring)...... so!

I'm looking for a bucket seat and some harnesses but also I'm want to sort the exhaust system......

I'm currently running SS Headers (make unknown), SS Twin port Downpipe, decat centre and SS Prodrive rear box.....

Performance wise.... I'm really happy BUT it sounds like a Smart Car!!!!

When the marshel tested it at Brands he laughed and asked me if it was turned on!!!!

I'm even thinking about not doing Tunnel Run as there seems little point!!!!

I know equal length header loose the burble, but i was told it should scream a bit like a bike engine etc.... but nothing really.....

I've booked the car in with H&S tomorrow as it's local to ask their opinion....

I need some kind of noise, even if it's not the burble!!!!!!

HELP!

The spec C had equal length headers, and that sounded nice mate, probably just need the centre and backbox, to free some sound, You may have an extra silencer in the centre pipe keeping it quiet.

But you don't want it to loud if your going to track it some more

Listen to mine and you will be grateful for your quiet system.

Early classic seats are pretty good for comfort and support I find, although I would like a set of these in GT form. Go sit in a Hawkeye and see how ****e the seats are by comparison.

I'm going to be changing my system very soon so will have a full 2.5" H&S ss decat available. Its not too loud as its an original ScoobySport back box, if you are interested we can meet up and see what you think of the noise. I should have my SYMS equal length headers on too soon so should replicate your set up

I have a replacement aftermarket back box in my garage.
Your wlecome to try it out and if you like then we can arrange a small fee...
It even has a hole in it for a flamer if required..

come to think of it i also have the flamer kit in my garage too!

Along with the OEM seats, seat belts, some trim, air con pump, wheels, tyres, lightweight pulleys (Crank & power steering)....
