Default Clay Shooting????

I hope no-one thinks i am being pushy, but is anything happenening about the clay shoot that was going to be organised?
Can't remember who put the thread up, but i think this would be a good day out, especially for those who haven't done it before.

Cheers all.

Hi mate ( Knowlesey ) From XS Started the thread & that's as far as it went .

It's a shame as there was a big group very interested in the clay shooting , It's not the first thread that has been posted in here recently , Got a nice list of people interested & then nothing comes of it .

It gripes me bad when this happens & people soon lose interest in the events that we do.

Please feel free to organise one yourself , That way you know you will go , And me to

Just check out the ESC Calendar so we dont get a clash of dates

Tiny ...

Thumbs up

I have found a very suitable shooting ground called the Rectory Farm Shooting Ground which is located on the edge of Enfield, so should be easy travelling for most.

The cost is as follows:

£30 per person which includes : 2 boxes of 25 cartridges, clays, use of gun, and tuition with five variations.

The variations means the amount of different types of stands you will be shooting from.

A £5 deposit is required per person which i can collect on the next Posers Cruise (6th Sept). If you want to go, but can't make the cruise, then a suggestion would be to give it to someone else.

The date would be a sunday in september, except for the first one, so need to know who wants to go and what sunday you can make in september and then i'll arrange it with the shooting club.

Arrival time at the ground is 10am and would finish around 2pm.

I do hope we can make this one a goer,as i'm sure it will be an enjoyable time for those who haven't done it before.

Scotty.

Would love to go, but we've got a biggish contract starting in Draper Gardens in London in September, so it's a bit of a bad time for me

Cheers mate.

Can someone check the ESC calender for me for the 21st September, as all i get is how many birthdays are on that day. I need to make sure the ckay shoot doesn't clash with anything else. If it doesn't then the date for the shoot is the 21st September.

A minimum of 10 people would be good, but i'm sure with just a few would be a good day out.

I have started a list below, so please add yourself, and bring your £5 deposit on the 6th sept., (posers cruise), for me to collect. The rest (£25) is due on the day. I'll also post up directions nearer the time.

It seems a shame that no-one is interested in this, also as i'm willing to organize it myself as well.

If no-one puts there name down by Friday 5th Sept, then i'm not going to bother with it.

No-ones obliged to do it, i just thought it would make a change from the regular activities.

Many thanks.

Scot.

Thanks for the responses so far.

Please remember that i will collect the £5 deposit (per person) on the 6th Sept, (posers cruise), in the Tesco carpark.

I know alot of people don't know me, so if in doubt, ask tiny and he will point you my way.

Many thanks to all.

Scotty.

scottie, a lot of us will not be at posers, so i'll try and find someone who is going and get all the missing deposits to you through him/her.

or i'll send you a cheque for all of us, and get the cash from the others!

A cheque will be fine, or if Brian can pick the cash up from you that would be great.

Cheers Brian.

Please remember to add all names to the list, so i know how many people are going.

Guys, can you try and make the TBC's into confirmations ASAP to help scottie.

I remember what happened when Nev organised this last time and he was left out of pocket due to "No Shows"

I will be giving the deposits to Brian before posers cruise, so get your ***** in gear please and lets make this happen!
