Sunday 17th Aug - Can you provisionally book that as the Looie Family Day Out please - date still to be confirmed though as the venue I have planned hasn't sorted their 2008 fixtures list yet, so I'm hoping they stick to the same weekend they had in 2007 (so date possibly might change).

Last year (the first year this event took place) the Lancashire & District Subaru Owners (aka LADSOC) won the One Make Club Of The Show” award - could we do better (assuming there would be enough of us to make it worthwhile)??

We need some of the others to check out the site and see what kind of response we might have as it isn't exactly local in Essex.... No point representing the club if only two of us go!

I often go to Sheffield & Rochdale to see some of my relatives, so I know it's roughly a 2½hr drive each way from Harlow if the road is clear, add another 15-20 mins from Lakeside Services, so it "could" be done on the one day and back home the same night, but would that be too much for some????

If the response is no interest, I might go on my own as a spectator and stay with my relatives overnight... but I would MUCH rather be there with ESC members!!

That blows a big hole in the plans for sure.............. was hoping for a "lot" of cars on this, but with TA5 on half the members will be at Brands.....

Shall I do it..... or not?? - It's the only relevant day for this as well, two annual events (that would appeal to all the family day out people) all coming together at the one place, so it's not as if I can use an alternative date!

Not happy.......... Don't know now what to do.....

 

I think to be honest that most people will be at Brands, sorry mate.
