Cool Huge thanks goes to Wozzaa

Not long after we buried my brother, I wanted to do something a little special to remember him in my own way. I had a chat with Wozzaa and he designed some graphics for me.

He sent me some designs, and how they would look on the car and I thought they looked good, but now they are on, they look bloody fantastic!! I had a hard time driving home trying not to cry!

Obviously, they won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I don't care - my family and I do, so that's all that matters!

The best side

Who needs a "Virtual" ESC supporters badge on Scoobynet

I personally think the car represents the best in the ESC

Tiny donating the wheels

ABW doing the bodywork

Spally for losing his enthusiasm for the car

Wozzaa for designing and fitting the graphics today.

Mneame as he'll be indirectly helping to clean the car (Engine degreaser)

Spec C'57 for working on the car in the past to get the thing going for Spally

Next job - Sorting the damn lifters out, can't be driving a car that sounds like a 20 year old Fiesta!!

Thanks again Warren, I'm really chuffed

Thanks guys, I can't take any of the credit for this as Wozzaa designed and done all the work

I wanted something a little different as I've had 3 different rally kits on my old Scoob, and this really is something else, looks awesome in the flesh.

I can't thank Wozzaa enough, it took him 3 hours to put them on!!

It certainly has mate

Started to dress the engine, bought a load of blue silicone hoses and blue convoluted tubing (for wiring looms) for the old Scoob, but never got round to putting them it, so I've started fitting those in now

Going to paint all the brackets and generally start cleaning the engine up.

The engine mods are going to be put on hold till winter when the tax runs out (again) so for now, I just want to drive and enjoy the car

Thanks Tiny .

Even though my other scooby was pretty heavily modified in comparison, a LOT faster, better brakes and suspension, given the choice between the 2, I'll chose this one everytime! I love it and can't see myself selling this now.

After being stuck in the traffic jam this morning, and reading the news report, I've decided that I really don't want to ride a motorbike anymore, so that's definately up for sale, just a shame that I spent about £2000 last year on the Direct Access course and bike. Nevermind can't change that now!

You're right there mate, but I now do a fair bit of driving through London, and I've seen more near misses involving bikes than cars. The other day, I was driving back from Canary Wharf (Admitted after popping in to see Spec 'C57) I was in the fast lane on the A13 just before the last underpass and a car in front of me decided to slam on the brakes to 20MPH for 1/2 mile then pull into the middle lane right right in front of a biker, who had to swerve to miss the car!

Also, on my bike test, we went through some twisty country roads round Chelmsford and I was going a tad fast and was well out of my capabilities, just managed to slow down enough to take the corner. It scared the crap out of me.

You'll get better in the twisties but they can scare you at times.

Travelling in london I always felt was safer as the speed is a lot lower.

Have thought about talking to my directors about using my bike to do emergency breakdowns for our big contracts at Canary Wharf (We're fire proofing the structural steel work at the new tower between Barclays and HSBC) and at White City - Shephard's bush (Biggest shopping centre in Europe) as would be able to zip through the traffic.

The buzz of riding a bike is something else, it's a more intense rush than driving a car fast! After doing the driver training day with Andy Walsh, I feel more confident in a car, much more in control, but a bike makes me weary, probably because it's a new skill, but there's no way I can handle a bike at the moment like I can with a car. My driving skills are nothing compared to say Mike, but I feel at home in a car. Last time I went go karting for instance, I wasn't very competitive, so I just enjoyed myself drifting the kart instead.
No doubt if I had more riding experience, then it would be a different matter, so for now, the bike is going and maybe in the future, I'll buy another and do some rider training to build my confidence up

Thanks mate, I've got a week off next week, so the Scoob will be getting a lot of attention, going to do a full valet inside the car and engine bay, and a good tidy up of the wires pipe work, fit an electronic boost solenoid and fuel pressure regulator which has sat in the garage for 18 months
