Default Any musicians/instrument players in the ESC ????

As per title, do we have any musicians or anyone that plays an instruments within the ESC.

For no specific reason, but I am learning to play Guitar and wondered if anyone else plays ?

I could almost join Status Quo, as I know more than 4 chords ..... It's just stringing them together

i play a bit of guitar....

had loads of lessons, back in the day.

one tip, is to leave the guitar out on a stand so you walk past it and remember to pick it up and have a quick blast.

dont put it away!! or you'll forget about it.

i've still got a guitar and will get back into it.

good luck

dazza

I play the piano - started learning when I was about 7 - haven't managed to play for a few years now though - as even my keyboard is tucked out of the kids' reach

However, that said - maybe I'll dust it off and stretch those fingers

I have a dabble with a guitar. I've got a couple, one electric and one acoustic.

Haven't played for ages though so I've probably forgotten most of it!

I struggle to even play scrabble But Nic my new co-driver is good with the guitar and the piano although she will not admit it LOL.

If you wanna see a "VERY" Good gutarist I recomend going to see "The Hamsters" a local band that I have seen some 10 or 15 times may be worth an ESC night out next time they are playing? Listen to a couple of their covers here, here and here

As our name suggests (!) I play drums in a band (The Revival Band) and Helen sings in a duo "Cherry Red", hence why we do not appear at many weekend events. Lil' Chris is a pretty good singer too!

Chris,

I see from you website that you play regularly at the Hockley Legion, do you know if this is open to the public, as we only live about 10min walk from there?
