Mixed feelings TBH, I might park and cover her up though the winter. specially if its been mapped.

Slippery roads and 400+ BHP (and me) dont mix

Out of curiosity......
Is a tunnel run the best option when running an engine in?
i would have thought smooth and gentle was the order of the day, not short sharp acceleartion, followed by rapid lift off....

Not quite, this is why I try to rack up a couple of hundred miles up on any engine I build before handing it over, smooth and gentle can lead to poor ring seal and an engine that doesn't produce the goods.

A couple of pointers for those running in engines,
  • regularly check oil and water levels, this is your responsibility, before and after every journey is a good idea
  • ensure oil is up to temperature before using higher engine speeds
  • vary speed and throttle position and therefore engine load, do not sit at the same speed on a motorway for the entire period
Other than that, enjoy it

Thanks mate, but if its set up like last time for running in then it will have a 4k limiter, and NO boost

Essexboy - I was going to do the tunnel run after the run in period, my 0-60 times will be measured in minutes while its on the run in map

Yup, all parked up outside now

Really missed driving it, even restricted to 4k to run in its great to drive.

Just need to do 1000 miles and put a front mount on, then the fun begins
