cheers Phil and everyone else

My car is packed and ready to roll, just waiting to hear whether I am driving up in the morning in convoy or not I really hope you get it sorted Mike, would be great compare the two of us on track

Weather is looking sunny, rainy, windy, snow, hail heatwave type of thing so anyone's guess as to what it will be will have fun any and each way

Issues were a suspect idler pulley, water pump and some scuffing on the cam caps - all replaced and good to go although the ignition system is now struggling at elevated boost levels

Marks in the cam cap running faces mate, these create high spots and incorrect clearances of the running surfaces of the camshaft journals and the cam bores.
