Engine Bay Cleaning....
It could be a sad day!
I may be giving up the Terzo () on Friday ......
Before it goes, I'm getting it valeted and detailed for the new owner (if he doesn't pull out!)
Does anyone have good tips on cleaning Engine bays? Can I just jet wash it, or is it a case of specialist?
Cheers bibo

i always do mine myself. tin of aerosol gunk and a few quidsworth of tokens for the local jetwash. the on ein pitsea has an engine cleaning setting.
get the engine nice and warm, spray the gunk on. pop round the corner to the karcher place, get someone to hold the revs up, pressure wash off. anything that's stubborn (sp) may need a tooth brush to give it a scrub or a second aplication. then dress rubber and plastics afterwards with a decent protector, something like autoglym vinyl and rubber care.
i'll find a pic of my old bay.

Hello mate,
I'm very sad to see her going........
I've spent the whole week getting her ready to go, spent last night removing all the stickers.... (only been on a short while!), it's in having the bodywork looked after so everything is perfect, then it's a valet and bye bye......
This is by far the best car I have ever owned. I loved the Terzo and seeing it mint right now just make me want to keep it, BUT..... I change my cars more often than my undercrackers and it's got to that time again.
Who knows...... fate may see me driving a Scooby again soon?

P.S. it's not actually gone yet..... so who knows!
