Default hooking up gauges

Guys,

How hard is it to hook up oil pressure and temp gauges? Got a set to put on the ra. Have seen the oil filter sandwich plates, are these the best bet?

Cheers,

Matt.

I have a boost gauge to put in as well. that one seems fairly easy. more concerned with the electrical side of the install on that one. the ones i've got are similar to defis, just a whole lot cheaper

lol, I best get an order in to make more adaptors for the oil pressure!!!!!

Fitting gauges isn't a problem, it's just a bit long winded, I make a T piece for the oil pressure so that the original oil pressure switch is still used, this goes into the oil p. switch location under the alternator.

The oil temperature sender goes into a blank above cylinder No3, so the intercooler has got to come off, the blank uses an 8mm Allen head which is removed, drilled and threaded with a 1/8 NPT thread, or in the case of Defi's 1/8 BSP.

I've got to fit a set of gauges to a Scooby in the very very near future, so if you want, I'll take some pictures and do a fitting guide, the car is a Bugeye, but the principles are exactly the same

i'll have an adaptor for the oil pressure please. also if the intercooler has got to come off it'll be a good excuse (and chance) for me to fit my my02 intercooler.

i would do but i'm skint at the moment. spent a little too much on the scooby and jato . plus it's my little boys first birthday on sunday and we're having a bit of a bash (90+ people in my back garden it'll only hold about 30 ).

I wonder if he wants an etg for the car?
