Tour de Europe
Right for this summer holiday seeing as the mrs & Courtney will be up the stables i'm going to throw the tent & jordan in the car & head down to northen Italy & south of france for a week or 2.
taking in some moutain roads ect...
seeing as i've never done this before has anybody else?
if so any suggestions would be helpfull.
also would anybody else be interseted.
I was thinking of going during the school summer hoildays.

Wozza, I have no idea about the A90...
with regards to the South of France, are you actually planning to drive there from Italy?
I have no idea what's where in Italy but if you end up going in the Monaco, Nice, Cannes area, there is a very nice road called "route Napoleon" that is a very good alternative to the motorway and villages all along are nice.
As it goes inland, about 2-3 hours drive from the coast, there is les "Gorges du Verdon", you will have to google it for pics as I'm not good at posting links
it is really nice, the road that leads to it is twists and turns and there are loads of camp sites.
loads of people do rafting, canoeing...
you will also find nice food, sun and affordable places to stay if you don't camp
