Extreme thanks to Xtreme!!!! - Again!!!
Dear all,
I thought i'd share my experience of (as you of you may know) my "oil" saga!!
- no, not the one where i shed 5ltrs of the black stuff in my boot, but the one where i shed 2 ltrs of the stuff down the seafront, via the engine.
after several bodges at trying to sort this out myself, via open wallet surgery, i finally bit the bullet and limped the car over to Knowlesy, Paul and Graham.
After an honest debate, and some good sound opinions, i opted for one of several permanent fixes to the problem, patiently diagnosed by the boys. and itemised as listed and printed options for me to think about.
Knowing how much i use the car (100 miles a day) a quick bodge was not an option, and was certainly not suggested by any of them.
All the problems were rectified in a very timely manner, and i've just had the most pleasurable drive home ever (oil and smoke free)
i can hand on heart say, this was all done in a very economical, professional manner, as always thanks to the Guy's "flexibility".
now the moral dilemma of "keep the car, which i love, or move to new age??"
i am once more a very happy bunny, and have left Loopy's car there to get an equal amount of care and service.
PS: My local car spares was reliant on my standing order for "Synthetic stuff" so he might want words with them!!!!

Long may they continue to serve.
