Jap radio...?
Hi,
Bringing my new Scooby home soon (Woo Hoo ) The stereo though is still in Japanese?! Is it easy enough to get it changed? Don't you have to get an attachment that you put on the back or something that converts it to English radio? Can you get this from Halfords/stereo shop?
Its such a nice looking stereo (CD/MD) it would be a shame to ditch it, plus it fills the whole well, which an English normal stereo won't without a blanking plate.
Cheers!!

Amazing how you can pick up japanese radio waves all the way from Blighty
sorry couldnt resist that one.
Serioulsy, I wouldnt have a clue - maybe drop Litchfields an email - they import from Japan all the time. I'm sure Ian will be able to shed some light on it for you.

Theres a few alternatives,
you could get a FM booster fitted and see if that improves anything,
there are also lots of double din size head units out there if you dont want the blanking plate.
Or finally get a single slot Head Unit and a SECS monitor or something similar to plug the gap.
Just my suggestions by the way

That's what I meant a frequency extender, couldn't think of the name, although I had one fitted to an American head unit I bought but it didn't do a brilliant job.
You could just sit back and listen to the burble
