Unhappy Lumpy Running....

hi guys,
i thought i'd post this here as i didn't want 500 different responses!!!!!

basically, my car has developed a sort of jitter on full loud pedal, at about 3,500k in 3rd/4th mainly.

the revs drop right down to 0 and i have to gently squeeze the throttle to pick up again.

i have had the sensors cleaned and this seemed to fix it for about 2 days.

dare i say it could it be the fuel? - i use optimax on a jap wrx classic '96

its going into extreme on thurs for an interim, new clutch pedal and detango .

any advice beforehand would be good as i can get them to do the work.

cheers in advance

Dazza

Mine was runing very lumpy on idle and even cutting out, very recently.

It turned out to be the induction cone slightly lose on the pipe, popped it back on and everything back to normal.

Just a thought.

Maybe a MAF sensor failure. would drive rather sensible until you find the cause tho or a rebuild could be in order....
