Right everybody im after your thought's on this one

Now that the weather has turned & It's not very nice sitting / Standing outside , Im thinking of getting a company in to do a Quiz for us whilst we are @ the Lodge meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month

I Have provissionally booked the Quiz master for our next meet on Thursday 17th November , But before i comfirm the booking , I Would like to hear your thoughts ..

I Have mentioned this to one or two of you & the response has been very positive to say the least

The meet will be as the norm , Arriving between 6-7pm Having a bit of food etc .. ( As the Grubs just Greeeattttttt ) !! Then bit of a chat etc & a Bit of time to sort out the teams

With the Quiz starting @ about 9pm Approx , It can be really tailored to suit our needs , Finishing about 10-30pm approx ..

Im thinking like , G Knowledge , Photo Round , Music round etc .. Every month if you wish we can change it , Pop only , Race nights ,& So on The list is Endless ..

The Costs , The Guy is looking for about £100 - 120 For the evening this is negotiable , But if we say charge £2 / 3 Per person the costs should be covered , If we get £ Left over this could be turned into Prize money

Im sure that i could have a word with Knowlesy & Paul @ Xtreme to get 1st 2nd & 3RD Prizes Sorted out , Sure the Boss will look after us as well

Summing up

Im up for it , The Lodge Are up for it , The Quiz master is booked & Is up for it ,

I Would really love to hear your thought's , Just makes the meet even more appealing to wives / Girlfriends etc.. If you still want to tyre kick then you can , Back in the ole days of the FFIC When we met @ the Plough & Sail , On the 3rd Thursday they had a quiz for the whole pub & we all used to enter , So im sure that it would work

The Quiz will be held in our own little room & Just for us

Ok Looking like we have a positive response so far

The Quiz will be very light hearted & Fun , With Questions that everyone can answer ( Sti-cky , Sara & SpALLY Excluded )

It would be great if we could get 50 People participating @ say £2 Per head im sure that i can get him down to £100

Ideally teams of 4 , 6 , 8 Could take part , This can be decided on the evening

Sara .. As for the Children , Im sure that they could help out on some of the Music from the 90's Round If not there is also the pool table , Colouring pens & Pencils could even be taken along to keep them amused & In thge summer there is the ball pool & Bouncy castles

Im Sorry Dean , But i & 4 / 5 Others were on your list for your quiz , One of our members also offered to donate a prize to you , We was prepared to travel & Support your Quiz , I think that you may be better moaning @ Kent scoobies for not supporting your quiz as it was on there doorstep .

tiny, yes i know you did . i also has a moan at the k/s too!
it's very frustrating when you try to arrange something for charity and no one wants to know especially when there is probably more than 100 members combined between esc and k/s. but a general quiz night and the world and his daughter are up for it

Understand Dean , This is slightly different though , Being held @ our normal monthly meet venue , So everybody will be there anyway , Im just trying to keep everybody entertained during the winter months , When the weather is not really suitable to stand / Sit outside , You are more than welcome to come over & Take part , Perhaps bring a few K/S Out of hibernation for this meet
