Default What do you lot think?

I have 2 eclipse 12" platinum edition subs sitting in my room and wondering wether of not to put em in the scoob with a nice tidy boot build.
Hate the thought that they owe me over £700 on their own and they aint doin nothin, so now ive a nice tight car to put em in.

Was also looking for an in dash screen, am i better off buying a scren on its own and add my ps2 to it or do i buy a screen/dvd combo?

Or am i sad and should just enjoy the standard subaru unit

Does this make me a proper chav?

Do you think im spoiling the car by adding unesassary weight?

You've got 2 options mate, either a full double din display head unit like Tiny, or a single DIN flip screen, both can have built in DVD players with auxillary inputs for flame cams, PS2's Xbox, etc. definately don't keep the standard subaru stereo as it don't even have any pre-outs for amps, not if you're serious about music

what do you want?
if its Chav - put in the subs, amps, single screen and separate DVD/PS2 etc and ask Baz on chav'ness - been told "he has the answers to Chav"
if its speed you are going for - sell them on ebay and go lightwieght - just look at me - if i take off my shirt i have etheopia's away kit on!! LOL - lightweight is the way for me! - just about to remove all the standard ICE outta my car and spend £1200 on lightweight stuff (radiator, hoses, alternator, battery, de-seeming etc etc)...

so whats it gonna be?

Oh bugger i dunno,

I love my sounds, i really really do.

But i wanna get her mapped and up to approx 320ponies too.

which is the cheaper option, single din screen and ps2?

how much will it cost me to get the ps2 in there.

Im basing this on the fact that im a lardyboy so lightweights pretty much outta the question

mine runs 323"ponies" without to many mods and with the stereo in with 4 kenwood 5" speakers... i love my mizik too... but, this is my eutopia idea which i have done... sell the subs and buy 2 technic 1210 mk2's - then drive the car like its your last ever drive everytime you go out and once you get home mix some tunes - whilst thinking of the best drive ever
or you could chuck 2.5 tonnes of ICE and screens and wiring in?
im not going to mention ANYTHING about lardyboys and fast cars being such a skinny tw@t as i am

THE CHOICE IS YOURS!!??

Why don't you make a removable sub box, so most of the time you can have your sounds but when you want to go out for a blast you can take the sub box out and enjoy the full performance of your car, best of both worlds i think

Cool

Just think of the fuel you'd save by fitting 'em .......just slam up the volume full belt and the car's gonna move all by itself , without you even having to switch it on!!
